As Christians we often find ourselves struggling to, in the famous words of Jesus "Pick up Your Cross and Follow Me". In a world that opposes everything the Bible stands for and ridicules anyone who has the courage to stand for what they believe to be right regardless of popular opinion. We can find ourselves blending into the cultures and beliefs of the common day, even when they misalign us from God's truths. Following God's word in these times can have us feeling alienated and just outright different. How can we live to Serve God and bring the Kingdom of Heaven down to earth? Embrace it; you are not of this world! Your citizenship is in Heaven!
